Volunteer to help get the word out on the July 20th Public Hearing.
And oh boy do we need help! :-)
This being a grass roots effort, it is being done just on volunteer help and with out any $$ .. and we like it that way!
We need volunteers to coordinate efforts in each town
We need volunteers to pass out flyers and get petitions signed and to get the word out in general about the public hearing.
We need someone to visit businesses that have "something to lose" if the MDC properties are closed .. and to give them the flyers and petitions so they can become advocates. And ask them to sign up on "business friends of the MDC"
We need someone to contact like minded groups, like the Bird Watcher's, the Running organizations, the regional track meet organizers, The organizations that run charity events at the Res. Or if you don't have time but know the contact person, email the info to me and I'll have someone follow up.
