Business Friends
We plan to meet with our state legislators and town council members to let them know that there are many people (can you say voters) that would very much like to see legislation created and passed in a timely manner that will provide Municipalities (including the Res) the same immunity to lawsuits that is already legislated for private land owners that have trails running through their property. Other states like Mass. have solid immunity laws that could be used as models for Connecticut.
We would like to create a "list" of Business Friends of the MDC .. those like minded folks that are willing to put their company names on a list that we can present to our legislators when we meet with them. Email them to cberistain@savethemdctrails.org and I will collect and post on this page.
